Common questions

Is this suitable for my child?
If your child is 7 to 10 years old (Year 3, 4 or 5 in school) and performs towards the top of their year group, a grammar school may well suit their ability. The free assessment is how we find out together.
What exactly is the free assessment?
A short maths and English paper that shows us where your child currently is. It's followed by a free consultation where we go through the results with you and discuss honestly whether the 11+ route is right for your child. No commitment either way.
When should we start preparing?
Most parents begin in September of Year 4 because of how competitive the exam is. We also run Year 3 classes for parents who want to build strong foundations early, and late entry into Year 5 is possible depending on the child.
Which schools do you prepare children for?
Grammar schools in Walsall, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Newport, and all other grammar schools using GL exam boards.

Will your child be next?
